TKASA Science Instagram Live Success!

The science department at the King Alfred School are finding new ways to help students who are not able to access revision lessons in school and their first Instagram live video had over 100 views!

The science department has a Youtube channel, with videos to help students with revision, and how now launched a new initiative in order to help students who may not be able to attend after school revision sessions. The Instagram live sessions cover a range of topics in science and their aim is to help students who find aspects of science difficult.

From balancing equations to relative formula mass, the Instagram lives are proving to be a big success within the school. One of the most recent sessions was based around Relative Mass and moles!

Founder of the TKASA Instagram Live videos, Dr Butler, says " I started doing the Instagram lives to provide an extra revision resource to students who can not stay for after school sessions. It has proved to be very popular and I hope that it helps the students!"

Brandon Kelleher, a year 10 student at The King Alfred School, who watches the lives, says," I believe that the TKASA Science Instagram Lives has helped me to improve in Science and it helps my friends too!"
